AK-47 – Level I

This course is designed for the person who has limited or no AK47 handling experience. During this course, you will learn firearms safety, range safety, proper handling and operation of your AK47, how to load / unload, safely store and carry your carbine (to include proper sling selection), how to disassemble, clean, reassemble, zero your carbine and all the fundamentals of Marksmanship required to be effective with your carbine. Optimum Defense Services will then take you to a live fire range where you will zero your AK47.

The below information is the round count needed for this course at ODS. Please ensure that you bring the correct ammunition for your gun. We ask that you do not use reloads in our courses. For your convenience, you can purchase ammunition from ODS. We ask that you contact ODS at least 24 hours prior to class so we may check availability.
