(3 HOUR COURSE)
During this course, the student will learn the levels of force needed to lawfully affect an arrest, when to use that level of force based on specific circumstances and understand what constitutes excessive force. This will help the student perform his or her duties and serve their community in a more effective manner, while at the same time helping to mitigate agency liability as it pertains to excessive force complaints.
