This course of instruction will provide the student with the proper working knowledge to safely execute handcuffing and searching techniques. Officers are injured and killed because they failed to conduct thorough and proper searching and handcuffing procedures. This course is designed to increase the student’s awareness, confidence and skill level as it pertains to proper technique and control during handcuffing and searching individuals, from either the standing, knelling or prone position.
